Elvira Sherifova

Elvira Sherifova came to the United States from Russia 8 years ago after receiving a full scholarship to attend the University of Bridgeport. Elvira joined LESHRC as the Program Coordinator of the Russian Project, overseeing the implementation of a USAID funded harm reduction initiative in Russia.

Following the successful culmination of the project Elvira continued working at LESHRC as a Volunteer Coordinator and then as a Prevention Case Manager. Elvira is currently a graduate student in Clinical Nutrition at New York University. She is in the process of developing several nutrition related initiatives here at LESHRC.
