LESHRC is thrilled to announce Alexandra Dyer as the new Executive Director

The Lower East Side Harm Reduction Center is thrilled to announce the appointment of Alexandra Dyer as Executive Director.  Ms. Dyer brings over 30 years of leadership experience, specifically related to the not-for-profit sector.

In her past capacity as both Executive Director and CFO, Ms. Dyer has focused on developing innovative and effective financial and management mechanisms; devised organizational strategies; and has managed and responded to diverse constituencies with a commitment to ethics, integrity, transparency, and collegiality.  Ms. Dyer’s professional life has been directed to services which affirm individuals and the community, while confronting the realities of social ills and inequalities which plague the most vulnerable. 

Ms. Dyer received her B.A. from Barnard College, Columbia University, her Master of Divinity from Union Theological Seminary, and her MBA from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business.  She completed the Certificate course from The Institute for Not-for-Profit Management of the Columbia University Graduate School of Business.
